Celestial Reactors is an allegorical VR experience exploring the thematics of memory and embodiment through the use an abtract, allegorical science-fiction narrative.
The player explores a future or inner world where an omnipresent and elusive technological system has replaced the biosphere. In these dreamscapes, the player encounters Mnemosynes, embodied avatars built from human knowledge, symbols and memories : are they software, lifeforms, concepts or illusions?
The project is built around a short story by coeur_net.
A limited edition illustrated book displays the story text alongside original illustrations and screenshots from the virtual reality game.

A first version of the experience has been presented during a solo exhibition at KG Cornerprinting in July 2019.
